AtlasDays is a private iPhone and iPad app for tracking travel history, visa day limits and residency thresholds. No account required.
AtlasDays helps frequent travelers keep an editable travel history and count days toward visa limits and residency thresholds. It logs trips by country and by US state, and counts the days against rules like the Schengen 90/180 rule, 183-day tax-residency tests and the US Substantial Presence Test. Planned trips are counted too, so a tracker shows before departure whether a trip still fits.
Trips can be added by hand, imported from Photos, Flighty or a spreadsheet, or added automatically when AtlasDays detects a country change. Older visits can be recorded with just a year or without dates, keeping incomplete history separate from exact day counts.
AtlasDays has no account and no ads. Travel records stay on the device, with optional sync through the user's own iCloud. It is made by Jorick van Meijeren, an independent developer in Tbilisi.
AtlasDays began with Jorick van Meijeren's own need to count residency days after moving to Tbilisi. Frequent trips made the count difficult to maintain, and he wanted to keep his travel history private.
He also wanted a detailed map of the places he had visited. AtlasDays brings both needs together: exact dates for the trips that affect day limits, and a travel history that stays useful even when older dates are incomplete.
“When the day count has consequences, I want to be looking at the same record I would hand to an accountant or an immigration officer.”
